Closest accessible parking

  • A single accessible parking bay at the rear of the restaurant identified by the access symbol on the bitumen surface of the bay.
    Bay is 3.2 metres wide and 5.6 metres long with a gentle slope across the bay.
  • Vehicle access from: Off Fourth Road via Armadale Shopping City undercover car park
  • Pedestrian access: Bay is near the accessible toilet and approximately 30 metres from the Jull Street entrance to the restaurant. Access is down the sloping driveway.

External access and entrance
Entrance door off Jull Street mall is 85cm wide with a lever handle. The door is heavy to open and fast to close. There is a short ramp up to the door.

Internal area
The restaurant has a central aisle with booth seating on one side and tables seating two persons on the other.
The tables have a central pedestal, 74cm high with 71cm knee clearance with chairs without armrests.
Floor is tiled.
A food display is at sitting height and the payment counter is 1.2 metres high.
The restaurant has table service.

Signage, customer displays and customer information
  • External signage is in capitals, in good colour contrast.
  • A large, handwritten white board displays the day's menu, located on the mall at the fornt of the restaurant.
  • Specials menu is in coloured ink on a large mirror.
  • The menu, in good colour contrast, can be printed in large print on site, on request.
Cafe, dining and food outlet
  • Alfresco dining is located through a domestic sliding door off the restaurant. The door is wide and heavy to open (staff will assist), with a lip of 1.5cm.
  • Alternatively, pot plants can be moved by staff to enable access directly into the alfresco area off the Jull Street mall.
  • The alresco area has tables able to seat four people. Tables are 73cm high with 69cm knee clearance.
  • There is enough room in this dining area for wheelchair and walking aid users to move to all tables.

  • Description: Toilet is at the rear of the restaurant next to the accessible parking bay.
  • Signage: Identified by 'toilet' and 'restroom' signs on the toilet door.
  • External access: Wide paved path to the toilet off the driveway next to the restaurant. There is a 4cm lip between the driveway and the entrance path to the toilet. There is a 1 metre wide security gate, always open.
  • Toilet door: An 83cm wide door with a knob handle and a small twist lock. The door is light to open with no self closing mechanism.
