Closest accessible parking

  • Two accessible parking bays at the end of the carpark, closest to the sporting club rooms.
    Bays are 3.2 metres wide,  5.5 metres long and have blue ground markings.
    Bays on level bitumen.
  • Vehicle access from: Burke Drive
  • Pedestrian access: Kerb ramp access at the rear of the bays to a concrete path around the sporting clubroom building.

Internal area
  • There is a concrete path from the parking to the front of the sporting club and toilets. 
  • A  large covered area in front of the building, with a seat, overlooks the playing fields.
  • Access to the fenced off nature reserve and wetlands is across grass. A seat without armrests overlooks the wetland.

Signage, customer displays and customer information
  • Clear signage is at the entrance to the car park.
  • Signs with information on wildlife and birds is near the reserve. The signs have large print and are in good colour contrast, maps are included.
Play area
  • The playground enters from the path at the end of the building. Access is through a wide gate with a low latch, onto lawn. Play equipment is on sand over a low limestone blocks.

  • Description: Male and female toilets are the same. The photographs and diagrams are of the female accessible toilet.
  • Signage: Ladies symbol over door.
  • External access: The outside path slopes up to an 81cm wide gate that is held open and enters into a corridor, leading to the toilet.
  • Main entrance: The entrance corridor, with the basin is 1.4 metres wide.
  • Toilet door: A 76cm wide door that is light to open with no closer. The door has a large lock and no door handle.
  • Pan height: 42cm

  • Basin height: 80cm
  • Lighting: A switch in the cubicle 1.3 metres high.
