  • Parking is in unmarked bays. A large level carpark with wide paved paths linking the dormitories, dining rooms, swimming pool and conference centre.

External access and entrance
  • Drive though to the upper car park that links to the dormitories, dining and conference facilities.
  • All of these facilities are linked with wide paved paths with some gentle slopes.

Swimming pool
  • A below ground pool between the dining and conference rooms. Accessed through a 90cm wide gate with a high child proof lock.
  • The pool has a ladder and steps at one end with colour contrast edges and no handrail.

Equipment for people with disabilities
  • Equipment for modified adventure activities is available. These include abseiling and a flying fox, accessed with a modified wheelchair. Archery and canoeing also available.
  • Staff have experience with people with a range of disabilities and will work with organisations and individuals to adapt adventure activities or equipment to suit needs.

Dining rooms
  • Two dining rooms that can accommodate two separate groups, overlooking the Swan River with internal access between both rooms.
  • Outside doors are off wide paved pathways that connect to all outside doors.
  • All entry double doors are 75cm wide with one door open. Doors have lever or D handles and are light to open and slow to close.
  • Vinyl flooring with a 90cm high servery and food tables 76cm high.
  • Each dining room has a unisex accessible toilet.

Graham Russell Conference Centre
  • One large conference area, overlooking the river, with two smaller meeting rooms, all carpeted.
  • Conference Room doors are double, 90cm wide with one door open. Light to open and slow to close with lever handles.
  • Two smaller meeting rooms offf the large room have 83cm wide doors.
  • Chairs have armrests.
  • The closest toilets are in the nearby dining rooms.

  • Five dormitories that sleep a total of 88 people.
  • Dormitories have small rooms each with two bunk beds.
  • Three of these dormitories the Parrot Rooms, Heron Rooms and Cockatoo Rooms have four accessible shower and toilet blocks.
  • The Cockatoo Room has a large ensuite accessible bathroom.

  • Each room has two bunk beds with approximately 1.2 metres between beds.
  • There is a desk and small fridge in each room.
  • Most rooms connect to a bathroom through a 69cm wide door. Alternate access is out the entrance door to the outside door into the bathroom.
  • All have rocker style light switches and ceiling fans.
