External access and entrance
- Access from car park on Wellington Road to the picnic area:
- Wide, barrier free, paved and gravel path from parking to picnic area which is approximately 20 metres long.
Signage, customer displays and customer information
- No directional signage to the picnic area.
- Sigange visible from the car park located on Gordon Street.
Picnic facilities
- Picnic area is linked with all the other park facilities by a wide, barrier free pathway.
- Picnic area is set in grass; however a gravel and paved access path links the accessible picnic tables, accessible barbecue, accessible toilets and heritage walk.
- Several accessible picnic tables are provided.
- Each table has knee clearance at either end of the table and some have clearance at the side also.

Barbecues
- Accessible barbecue is located adjacent the accessible picnic tables.
- They are free and gas operated.
- Controls are approximately 88cm from the ground surface.
- Barbecue has a single cooking surface 1 metre high with an adjacent work surface.
- It does not have knee clearance, but there is sufficient paving to allow a side approach for wheelchair users.
- Cooking surface does not have a lid.
