Parking
- There are two wide marked accessible parking bays located in the car park opposite the Ranger's Office.
- The bitumen surface is level with the surrounding pathway in front.
- There is a vehicle mountable kerb on the left hand side.
- The parking is in close proximity to the toilet and picnic areas.

External access and entrance
- There is a 125cm wide sloping pathway leading down to the main picnic area and trail by the water.
- It is approximately 20 metres long.
Internal area
- There is an accessible trail around the picnic area and water that is approximately 400m long. It provides a pleasant accessible experience where visitors can view the pools, wildlife and natural surroundings.
- The trail is a bitumen pathway that is 180cm wide. It is level in most parts, but there are sloping sections where assistance may be required.
- There are a couple of bridges over the water that have hand rails on both sides. These do not have adequate turning space, but are not very far to travel across.
- Pathways along the banks of the water have railing positioned on the edge.
- The surrounding areas have a loose gravel surface, that are level in parts.
Signage, customer displays and customer information
- There are information signs located throughout the park providing details about the park.
- They have good colour contrast and are easy to read.
Cafe, dining and food outlet
- The John Forrest Tavern/Kiosk is accessible and open from 11am.
- It does not have an accessible parking bay, with the closest being next to the Ranger's Office. There is a spacious parking area out the front.
- There is a barrier free pathway and ramp to the entrance, which is double doors that are open.
- Some parts of the verandah area are narrow, although a wheelchair can fit through.
- The counters are at standing height.
- The tables have adequate knee clearance.
Picnic facilities
- Main Picnic Area: This is a purpose built accessible picnic area located next to the water. There are two round accessible picnic tables, each having spaces for 4 wheelchairs to be dispersed around the table.
- The tables are 86cm in height.
- The picnic area has a level loose gravel surface. Please note that assistance may be required for the transition onto the gravel surface from the bitumen pathway as there is a slight lip.
- There is also an accessible picnic table located directly next to the accessible parking bays, with the toilet located in close vicinity. This picnic table has spaces at each end for a wheelchair. The surface is cement, with a bitumenised path/ramp leading into this area.

- The main accessible picnic area has two gas barbecues that are free-of-charge to use.
