External access and entrance
The level footpath is located directly in front of parking bays.
  • The main entrance is accessed via a wide boardwalk and alfresco area from the level footpath.  There are two single swing doors, one held open during business hours.  Each door is 90 cm wide and has a lever handle.  There is 10 cm high step into the cafe.  There is a 3 metre long ramp with an average gradient of 1:8 that leads to the lower boardwalk.  The lower boardwalk leads to other cafes and shops.
  • There is a side door that is accessed from the same level path and has a landing 160 cm wide.  The single swing door has a lever handle and is 97 cm wide.  The door is heavy to open and slow to close.  There is restricted space near the door handle, on the inside, that may restrict the approach to the door when leaving. The landing has two steps down to the lower boardwalk.

The Bakehouse has alfresco, ground floor and an upstairs areas:
  • Alfresco moveable chairs have armrests and seats 46 cm high.  Moveable tables are 69 cm high with a  central pedestal.
  • Ground Floor area has sufficient space for users of wheelchairs and walking aids to move through. The payment and food counter is at standing height.  The moveable chairs are have no armrests and seats 45 cm high.  The moveable tables are 70 cm high with central pedestals. The unisex accessible toilet is located on the ground floor.
  • Upstairs area is reached via stairs. The restaurant area is spacious and level with a bar facility. There are male and female toilets on this level.
