External access and entrance
  • The approach to the cafe is via a wide concrete path.  There are gaps and uneven sections along the pathway.
  • There is a wide concrete ramp at the cafe entrance with a 1cm lip at the base.  It is 72cm long with a gradient of 1:8.
  • An alternate entry is provided which has a 20cm step without a handrail.

  • There is a spacious entry foyer with a tile floor.
  • Customers seat themselves on arrival and place their orders and pay at the counter.
  • There is sufficient space for wheelchair or walking aid users to move between tables and chairs and reach all areas of the cafe.
  • There is a variety of table and chair arrangements including lounge seating at coffee tables and dining chairs and tables.
  • Dining chairs do not have armrests.
  • The ordering and payment counter is at standing height. 
  • Food is displayed in a glass fronted cabinet.

    • Unisex accessible toilet available on the City farm site.  For use by all City Farm visitors and workers.
  • Signage: The unisex accessible toilet is clearly identified.
  • External access: The toilet is located at the end of a concrete walkway. There are kerb ramps on the walkway which have been painted to alert users to their presence.
  • Toilet door: The swing cubicle door is 83cm wide which is light to open and fast to close. It has a lever handle and a small press button lock.
  • Pan height: 47cm.
  • Handrails: Provided.
  • Basin height: 80cm.
  • Paper towel dispenser: Provided.
  • Lighting: Switch is movement activated.
