Closest accessible parking

  • There are 3 designated accessible car parking bays located close to all amenities on site.
  • One bay is located adjacent the picnic area and two bays are located at the other end of the car park near the toilet facilities.
  • Bays are clearly identified with signs at the head of the bay and by blue line markings and the accesss symbol on the ground. 
  • Bays are outdoors with a level, bitumen surface. The bays are sloped from left to right with gradients up to 1:14.
  • Bays are 3.6 metres wide and 6 metres long.
  • Vehicle access from: Bluff Knoll Road.
  • Pedestrian access:
    • Pedestrian access is via a bitumen path which links directly with the carparking area.
    • The bitumen path joins onto a steel mesh viewing area and is linked by a ramp with gradient 1:20 over a length of 1.5 metres.
  • Cost: National Park entry fees apply.

External access and entrance
  • There are two types of path through this attraction, one is a wide bitumen path and the other is a steel mesh decking area which leads to all of the lookouts.  These paths have gradients up to 1:14.
  • There are three wheelchair accessible viewing decks located on the steel mesh pathway which provide expansive views of the Stirling Range National Park.
  • There are seats along the path which are 49cm high.

Signage, customer displays and customer information
  • There is a large covered information pavilion with multiple panels proving information about natural and cultural values.
  • Display boards have information at sitting height.
  • Information has large, clear print in good colour contrast.
Picnic facilities
  • The closest accessible parking bay is approximately 5 metres from the sheltered picnic area.
  • Thre are 3 picnic tables under the metal roofed pavillion.
  • Picnic tables are located over bitumen and have fixed bench seating on both sides of the table.  There is space at the end of the tables suitable for a wheelchair user.
  • Tables are 82cm high.
