Natural Bridge, Kalbarri National Park

  • The natural bridge is an attraction located about 16 kilometres south of Kalbarri township
  • It has a walking track, coastal lookouts and a shade shelter
  • There is one level accessible parking bay in the bitumen car park
  • Paths are made of either bitumen or decking.  Paths have some steep sections. 
  • There is an accessible toilet on site

Closest accessible parking

  • A level bitumen accessible parking bay is provided in the lookout parking area.
  • There is access signage at the head of the bay. 
  • The bay is 3.5 metres wide and 4.8 metres long.
  • Vehicle access from: George Grey Drive.
  • Pedestrian access:
    • There is a level surface from the bay to the footpath.

External access and entrance
  • Wide bitumen paths link facilities, with a small decked section of one pathway.
  • The gradients are generally level though there are some steep sections of path up to a 1:8 gradient.

  • Display boards are at sitting height. 
  • Information is in a large, clear print in good colour contrast.

Shade Shelter
  • The shade shelter is about 55 metres from the nearest car bay.
  • A 2 metre wide, even bitumen path links from the car park to the shelter.  The path becomes a boardwalk for the final 15 metres.  There are panoramic costal views.
  • The shelter has bench seating, 50cm high.

Castle Cove Lookout
  • Castle Cove Lookout is about 150 metres from the accessible parking bay.
  • Access to the lookout is via a wide, asphalt path with some steep sections with gradients up to 1:8.
  • The last section of path to the lookout changes to a boardwalk.
  • A bench seat 50cm high is located at the entry to the lookout.

Natural Bridge Lookout
  • The Natural Bridge lookout is about 300 metres from the car park.
  • A wide bitumen path links from the carpak to the lookout. It is steep with a gradient of 1:10 and up to 1:8 in some sections.
